Nestled in the heart of Hacker Valley in Webster County, WV preschool and kindergarten students are learning to code. Students will have to opportunity to engage in lessons from CODE WV where they are not only actively engaged in hands-on activities but coding online. Dragging and dropping are a huge part of these lessons and are made possible through the sponsor of these mice. By the end of these lessons, students will be able to successfully code a loop.

In talks with Dancey Howes, Quentin Murphy, Killer Instinct Gaming’s Owner decided to sponsor the class and purchase 10 mice on behalf of KIG. “Support like this makes hands on learning possible” says Howes. “We have to get our students excited and learning about coding. It’s our future.”
Killer Instinct Gaming’s Owner, Quentin Murphy had this to say. “I’ve wanted KIG to be more part of the community. It’s within our mission statement to focus on community, content, and competition. Helping these students is just the first step giving back to the community. I’m glad we are here to help in situations like this. It’s what connect gaming to the world. ”
