This past year has been huge for Killer Instinct Gaming (KIG)! We took a big step forward as a whole organization when we decided to take our organization from just content creators to adding competitive gaming. With this step, we were able to establish a competitive Valorant Team. During their inaugural season, they placed third in the NAAGL League. We had a solid team for the first year and it was lead by captains, Conradskiii and Th3ree. Although, it was only the first season and many accolades were achieved, the team was not happy with the results and were hungry to prove themselves.

This was proven true when the KIG Valorant Team made a trip to Columbus OH on August 27th 2022 and competed while at No Trace Gaming. Our Valorant Team took a commanding 13-0 victory and showed they have grown from their inaugural season and ready to make a name for themselves. They are set to compete again in the fall. With success with our Val Team, we have starting expanding and looking for a Call of Duty Completive Team for both Search and Destroy and Battle Royale and add to our Apex Competitive Team. Our content creators do a fantastic job as their upbeat vibes and amazing content. We have a variety of personalities who play a variety of games so it is never a dull moment for our community. We have had content creators do sub-a-thons, 24-hour streams, host game night, etc. May come as a bias but I think we have some great content creators and their communities back up that statement! KIG is on the upward trend for both content creating and competitive gaming. But none of this would be possible without our members and also the community.
I would like to personally thank everyone who has stuck with us during the whole journey, especially during COVID. The community is what keeps this going and with our support system being as great as it is, we will continue to check off goals and achievements for the years coming and placing KIG on the map for the gaming community! #KIGFam
